Getting Started with Your Doming Resin Process
This basic guide covers the essential steps for creating 3D dome stickers using DZNYO Resin Sticker Pro. It is designed for beginners who want a simple overview of the process. For advanced techniques, troubleshooting, and business strategies, a full system guide is available separately.

1. Prepare Your Workspace
-
Work in a clean, dry, dust-free area.
-
Keep the room at a comfortable, stable temperature.
-
Avoid high humidity to reduce bubbles and surface issues.
-
Wear basic protective gear such as gloves and eye protection.
2. Use a Flat & Level Surface
-
Place your stickers on a flat tray or board.
-
Make sure the surface is fully level before applying resin.
-
A level setup allows the resin to spread evenly and form a clean dome.
3. Print & Prepare Your Stickers
-
Print your designs on self-adhesive vinyl or sticker paper.
-
Allow printed stickers to dry and cure for 24 hours before doming.
-
Fully dried ink helps prevent bubbles and surface defects.
-
Cut designs cleanly using a vinyl cutter or plotter.
-
Avoid sharp or pointed shapes—smooth, rounded designs work best.
-
Make sure stickers are clean, dry, and dust-free before proceeding.
Tip: Applying resin to uncured ink may cause bubbles or poor results.
4. Mix the Resin (3:1 Ratio)
-
Measure 3 parts Resin (Part A) to 1 part Hardener (Part B).
-
Mix slowly and thoroughly for 2–3 minutes.
-
Scrape the sides and bottom of the cup while mixing.
-
Avoid fast stirring to reduce air bubbles.
-
Transfer the mixed resin into a bottle with a nozzle for easier control.
5. Set Up the Tray & Place Stickers
-
Prepare a clean doming tray.
-
Apply a thin layer of water-based adhesive to the tray.
-
Let the adhesive cure until tacky.
-
Place the sticker sheet onto the tray.
-
Use a rubber roller to press the stickers firmly in place.
-
Ensure all stickers are fully stuck with no lifting edges.
-
Place the tray on a leveled surface before pouring resin.
6. Apply the Resin
-
Dispense a small amount of resin onto each sticker.
-
Start from the center, letting the resin spread naturally.
-
The resin will self-level and form a domed surface.
-
Do not overfill—each design can only hold a limited amount.
-
Allow the resin to settle for a few minutes before moving the tray.
7. Minor Adjustments
-
If bubbles appear, gently use low heat to remove them.
-
Check the surface within the first few minutes for dust or flaws.
-
Avoid touching once the resin begins to level.
8. Curing
-
Keep stickers covered and undisturbed while curing.
-
Resin becomes touch-dry in 4–6 hours.
-
Full cure is reached after 24 hours.
-
Once cured, stickers are ready for handling or packaging.
9. Basic Safety Guidelines
-
Use gloves and work in a well-ventilated area.
-
Avoid skin and eye contact.
-
Clean spills immediately.
-
Store resin in a cool, dry place, away from heat or flames.
